Ushindi Africa Children's Choir-USHINDI- is an African children choir based in Kampala, Uganda. It is composed of about thirty children from Uganda. USHINDI- means "success/Victory" in Swahili language. The choir and is made up of children who have lost one or both parents to the AIDS epidemic or to war. The Choir is getting started with it's tours in Uganda and later on it will be touring the world with a team of Ugandan adults. Their performances are a unique blend of native African rhythms, contemporary gospel music and ethnic dance. They have released one Album called lord come and set free the children of Africa, their latest album. Their unique ministry also comprises a partner non profit organization called Uganda Children Burden centre with various projects.
